The 13th GLA Global Logistics Conference established the GLA Women's Club—W.I.L.L in Bangkok, Thailand on November 7, 2025, a special forum dedicated to championing female leadership within the global logistics industry.

The highly anticipated forum, held under the theme "Women in Logistics Leadership: Her Time to Shine, Collaborate and Thrive," brought together a prestigious group of female entrepreneurs and executives from around the world. It provided a dedicated platform to explore how diverse leadership injects new vitality and wisdom into the logistics industry, painting a vivid picture of an inclusive, collaborative and co-creative future.

The W.I.L.L Club was officially inaugurated with an inspiring address from Ms. Grace Sun, President of the GLA Global Logistics Alliance. Drawing from her own journey, she extended her heartfelt respect to all attendees. She explained the threefold meaning of "W.I.L.L": it stands for "Woman In Logistics Leadership," a testament to the talent within the logistics field; it implies "Women in Logistics Link the World," highlighting the gentle yet determined power women bring to global connectivity; and it embodies the very essence of "W.I.L.L" the resolve to face challenges fearlessly. Ms. Grace Sun stated that the club is expected to be a great platform that inspires women around the world. “Together we rise, together we shine!” she said.

A sharing session followed, featuring a feast of insights from several distinguished female industry leaders.
Ms. Claire, CEO of Cosmic Express Corp., USA, emphasized that open collaboration is central to driving shared success, expressing her belief that the agile and empathetic leadership innate to women will inject an indispensable new dynamism into the industry.

Ms. Yolanda Lalut, Sea Container Shipping & Logistics, Romania, focused on the industry's rapid transformation, noting that connection, trust and innovation serve as the cornerstones for navigating the future.

Ms. Gutierrez Jocelyn, Director of Intercambio De Negocios Internacionales JOM S.A.D, Mexico, offered a geopolitical analysis of the opportunities presented by "nearshoring," remarking that the key to new growth lies in maintaining a global perspective while understanding local nuances.

Ms. Rodelyn Lombos, General Manager of Transportplus Logistics Inc., Philippines, shifted the focus toward the intersection of technology and humanity in freight. She emphasized that true transformation is not just about adopting new tech, but about weaving it into an inclusive culture where diverse voices, especially female perspectives, actively shape the logistics ecosystems of the future.

The event culminated in an energetic open discussion session that filled the room with genuine energy and authentic voices. Attendees took the floor to share meaningful stories of their professional journeys—the challenges, the triumphs and the ambitions that drive them. The conversation quickly evolved beyond business and markets into a heartfelt exchange on growth and dreams, embodying the deep sense of partnership and trust that defines the GLA community.

It reinforced a clear consensus: a more diverse and inclusive world of logistics will inevitably be a stronger and more resilient one.

The success of this inaugural W.I.L.L Club event extends far beyond a valuable platform for networking and recognition. It sends a powerful message to the entire industry: GLA is unwavering in its commitment to championing diversity and inclusion. We believe that when every unique voice is heard and every talent is empowered to shine, we can truly join hands to build a better world for global logistics.
