Gala Dinner Highlights at the 13th GLA Global Logistics Conference

On the evening of November 8, 2025, the 13th GLA Global Logistics Conference Gala Dinner was held in grand style in Bangkok, Thailand. Nearly 2,000 logistics professionals, industry experts, and business leaders from more than 130 countries gathered in Bangkok, the “City of Angels,” for a night of recognition, cultural exchange, and global friendship.

Ms. Grace Sun, Founder and President of the GLA Global Logistics Alliance, delivered a welcoming speech, extending her gratitude to the international delegates and partners for their presence and continued support.

“GLA has always stayed true to its commitment — to connect the world’s logistics power,” she said. “We are committed to building an open, inclusive, and mutually beneficial platform that fosters collaboration, drives innovation, and advances sustainable development in the global logistics industry.”

Her remarks were met with warm applause, and guests raised their glasses to celebrate the growth and resilience of the global logistics community.

During the welcome dinner, Dr. Darwin Yang, President of the ASEAN-China Commerce Association and Strategic Advisor to the Thailand CTAB Lawyers Association, delivered remarks highlighting ASEAN’s key role in the Belt and Road Initiative and China’s ongoing alignment with ASEAN development strategies. 

The evening also featured the prestigious GLA Honor Awards Ceremony, celebrating the outstanding achievements and contributions of GLA members across the global logistics industry. Awards such as the GLA Global Partner Award, Outstanding Contribution Award, Outstanding Member Award, Growth Award and Member Valued Partner Award were presented to exceptional companies and individuals from China, Thailand, the UAE, India, UK, Germany, USA, and other countries, honoring their leadership and innovation in the global supply chain.

Mr. Mahesh Gurung from ISCM Nepal Pvt Ltd, Nepal, delivered an original musical performance that captivated the audience, filling the venue with vibrant energy and creating a warm, lively atmosphere. In that moment, language ceased to be a barrier, and music became a bridge between hearts – logistics entrepreneurs from around the world gathered here, smiling at each other through the melodies, feeling a silent understanding and camaraderie.

Immediately following, a surprise birthday segment added warmth to the feast. Candlelight flickered, laughter and applause interwove, as everyone collectively offered blessings to logistics entrepreneurs celebrating their birthdays that month. At this moment, GLA was not merely a link in global logistics but a warm and belonging family, making the world closer through encounters and cooperation deeper through genuine emotion.

At the dinner venue, the charm of Thailand blended seamlessly with international energy, creating a warm and captivating ambiance for this global industry gathering. Dancers in traditional costumes gracefully swayed, their flowing finger movements interpreting the softness and agility of classical Thai dance, quietly narrating the cultural essence of the "City of Angels."

The enchanting performance seamlessly blended into the cheerful ambiance of the evening, as cultural exchange infused profound warmth into the dialogue among distinguished global logistics leaders. Beyond the professional networks, it was a night woven together with fine dining, melodious music, and heartfelt laughter—an inspiring prelude to the trust and collaboration that will pave the way for future business achievements.

This year’s conference facilitated over 100,000 successful One-on-One business meetings among participants from more than 130 countries and regions — injecting lasting momentum into the development of the global logistics and supply chain industry.
